For
upper crust-
1
cup Sabudana soaked
1
cup boil potato, mashed
1
tablespoon green chili paste
½
inch ginger paste
1
tablespoon cumin
Salt
to taste
For
stuffing-
¼
cup paneer grated
1
teaspoon grated ginger
1
teaspoon cumin
Salt
to taste
2
tablespoon mix chopped rasins and cashew
1
teaspoon lemon juice
Groundnut
Oil for deep frying (some use only ghee during vrat, they can use ghee for
frying)
Process-
1. For upper
layer- mix soaked sabudana, boiled potato,
chili paste, ginger paste, cumin and salt.
2. Mix it well, it will look like a dough and
refrigerate it for 10-15 minutes.
3. For stuffing- In a bowl mix grated paneer,
cumin, cashew, rasins, coriander, ginger, lemon juice and salt.
4. Mix it well and make small balls.
5. Stuff these paneer balls in sabudana
mixture.
6. Take out the sabudana-potato dough prepared
in step2 from refrigerator.
7. Now stuff paneer balls in the sabudana-potato
mixture. Exactly the way we stuff Aloo paratha or pattice.
8. Once done with the stuffing keep it aside
or better to refrigerate for 5 minutes. This will make these bombs crispy.
9. Heat oil in a deep kadhayi, once it hot
drop in those paneer bombs and fry till it is golden brown.
Serve it
with curd or green chutney or even with dahi chutney ( recipe is in the blog)
