Tips For Healthy Fasting

Fasting is meant to eat less but by eating those regular fasting foods we actually increase our calorie count. Here are some tricks & tips which will cut down your calorie count. So follow these tips and have a healthy, happy and peaceful Navratri.

·      Drink lot’s of water. Almost 10-12 glasses a day.

·      Eat in small portions.

·      Include cucumber, watermelon, sweet lime, pineapple, pomegranate which will keep your body hydrated.

·      Use fresh curd daily. Make curd fresh at home. Set it overnight so that you get to eat it in morning.

·      Drink 1 glass Buttermilk every day.

·      Avoid having curd after 5 in the evening.

·      Replace Ghee with Groundnut oil.

·      Prefer using non-stick pan or kadhayi for cooking anything. This will help to reduce oil quantity.
