Basic Vanilla Sponge Cake

Ingredients-
1 cup Maida
2 Eggs
¾ cup Powdered Sugar
½ cup Milk
½ cup oil , use sunflower oil
1 ½ teaspoon Vanilla Essence
½ tablespoon Baking Powder
Little ghee or butter for greasing the tin.

Process-
1. Beat eggs and sugar together for 2-3 minutes.
2. Always use a deep vessel. And tilt the vessel so that beating becomes easy.
3. Then add milk and again whisk it for 2 minutes.
4. Add oil and vanilla essence and mix it well.
5. Time to add flour. Fold in the batter. Do not whisk it.
6. At last add baking powder. And again use folding technique.
7. Note- Always remember do not beat or whisk the batter after adding soda or baking powder. Always use folding technique.
8. Now grease the tin and pour in the batter.
9. Bake it at 180 degree Celsius for about 35-40 minutes.
