When we talk about kitchen/food it is impossible to not mention our
grandmas. They are the encyclopedia of kitchen. Today, when thousands of
new recipes are discovered, we cannot forget the taste of grandma's handmade
food. And actually we can smell all those special dishes just by thinking about
them. We believed in our grandmothers cooking more fervently than we believed
in god. She knows every detail of kitchen. Once food has passed through
her hands, it is sanctified by love. Most of her recipes are very simple
but tastes heavenly. Few recipes are meant to be treasured and grandma’s dishes
are one of those. And I am on a journey to treasure such old hidden
recipes of my grandmother. She is the real masterchef. From my grandmother and
mother I have learned to take real satisfaction in feeding people. For her food
is sacred. I feel connected to my
grandmother, to her mother and to our family whenever I am in the kitchen.
